Marc J. Shapiro

Marc J. Shapiro was an advisory director for Cadence and its predecessors from 2010 to 2018. He was formerly the non-executive Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Texas operations and Vice Chairman for Finance and Risk Management of JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 1997 through 2003. Prior thereto, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Texas Commerce Bank’s statewide organization after it was purchased by JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Shapiro is currently a member of the board of trustees for Rice University and the board of advisors of the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Hospital, and as a member of the board of trustees of Baylor College of Medicine and a member of MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Board of Visitors.
