TUPELO, Miss., July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- At its regular quarterly meeting today, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE: BXS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per common share, which represents an increase of $0.025 per common share, or 33 percent, compared to its most recent dividend of $0.075 per common share paid on July 1, 2015. The dividend is payable October 1, 2015 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2015.
BancorpSouth earlier reported net income of $39.7 million or $0.41 per share for the second quarter of 2015.
